Here are the results of the small survey taken by the HireVibes community over the last week:
It was certianly close on a couple of the topics. Having a wide, varied community of participants from different backgrounds is important. This is something that we see as an integral part of any blockchain organisation and we’re excited to kickstart initiatives in the new year that will grow engagment levels. This Weeks Updates
1. The First HVT Job Rewards have been Market-Purchased
Today, the rewards for HireVibes 10th hire was purchased on the open market. All previous hire rewards were covered by the HVT Onboarding Fund that was set aside to support HireVibes early customers.
There is still a way to go to reach previous highs, however it’s a step in the right direction. As HVT for all new hires on HireVibes will need to continue being market-purchased from here onwards, this constant buy-pressure will be fuel to fire HireVibes incentive system in the coming years.
2. HireVibes Donation Reward to buy 13 sleeping bags ❄️❄️❄️
With that, the person who became the 10th hire on HireVibes has chosen to give his Donation Reward to an Irish charity called FeedOurHomeless (HireVibes second partner charity). This free donation (which is equivalent to 1% of the candidates’ starting salary) will be used to buy 13 sleeping bags for people sleeping on the streets this winter. Unfortunately, a number of people still die each year in Ireland due to sleeping outside in sub-zero temperatures.
This donation won’t solve all the problems but will go some way towards making a positive impact on some peoples lives.
Here’s what Luke had to say about his experience of finding a job (his first job we might add!) through HireVibes:
‘’I’m so happy! It’s an amazing feeling to have earned a free donation through HireVibes that I can use to support local people that are in need. I’ve also earned over $700 in HVT which I plan to hold onto because when more people hear about HireVibes, it’s going to be huge.’’
3. EarnBet is Growing its Engineering Team Using HireVibes
The company behind one of the most successful blockchain applications to date (Aurora Tech) are hiring a Front-End Developer and a Senior Software Engineer. These positions are remote based so anyone is welcome to apply.

4. Two Executive roles have been added to HireVibes
A San Francisco based consumer-focused technology company are looking for an experienced Recruiting Director to join their team. While, HireVibes first client based in Mexico is recruiting a VP of Engineering.
The rewards for these two positions alone will create HVT buy orders of $11,000+ and over $3K in donations.
